In 2008 Spike Lee signed up to take part in a new social film collaboration project called Nokia Productions. Anyone could take part and upload their own content. You could contribute by sending in footage, photos or text directly from your mobile phone.
The film consisted of three acts which would have assigenments posted online and people would then have four weeks to send in their work. Nokia would then choose 25 submissions and people were then able to vote for the top10 online. Lee would then choose the winning film from each act.
